• Carry Wet Paintings Safely: Designed to transport wet watercolor, oil, and acrylic paintings safely from the field back home. The rigid wooden frame keeps painted surfaces separated and protected during transport. Inclined frame edges leave minimal marks to the painting. Designed in Finland. See instruction videos.
• Inclined Frame Design: The carrier frame inset measures approximately 16.2 × 12.2″ and is inclined at 15°, so it only touches the very outer edges of the painting, leaving minimal or no marks on the painted surface. For example, if you tape the edges of a watercolor painting, the frame will not touch the painted area at all. With oil paintings, any contact marks remain on the outer edges and are typically hidden when the artwork is framed.
• Includes Waterproof Backing Board: Comes with a 16×12″ varnished birch plywood backing board for taping loose watercolor paper or working with pre-wetted thick paper. The sealed surface supports wet-on-wet techniques and resists moisture absorption. The board can also be used for taping oil painting canvas before stretching. Made from 7 mm birch plywood with rounded corners, sealed with multiple layers of varnish for durability. Fits inside the carrier frame inset so wet loose paintings can be transported safely.
• Integrated Easel Board (Tripod Compatible): Includes an easel board that attaches to any standard ¼″ camera tripod (tripod not included). Can be used as a palette or accessory table and expanded with the Pleinly Plein Air Accessory Set.
