Use the engraving needle to directly carve on the copper plate or zinc plate, and print with ink without corrosion. The carving needle should be a very hard steel needle or a stylus with a hard gem (or diamond) at the end of the pen.
• >>>> Etching Corrosion method: A plate-making method of copper plate. It is to coat the plate with anticorrosive wax or antiseptic (generally made of yellow wax, rosin, asphalt and other acid-resistant materials) to form a layer of anticorrosive film, paint on the plate with a carving needle, and then put it in corrosive solution (commonly used nitric acid solution) for corrosion. Where the anticorrosive film is scraped off by the cutting needle, it is corroded to form a concave line. The longer the corrosion time is, the deeper the concave line is.
